About Tarot

Tarot has been around since the 15th century, with the oldest set of cards being from Italy and dating from 1440. It has been used as a tool for understanding and decision making in all manner of things, from relationships to business decisions, finances to health. Tarot can be used to give you guidance in any area of your life, no matter what it is.

In the past it has been used in a more predictive manner, which is why people still think of it as fortune telling, but these days Tarot is used to guide and empower you in your decision making. Your future is not set in stone. You have free will to do as you see fit and having all the information at hand helps us to make better decisions. Tarot is the key to getting all the information so that you can make the best possible decisions for you.

How does Tarot work?

The Tarot cards connect with the energy that surrounds you and allows the reader to interpret those energies and where they might lead to. It’s a way of connecting with your unconscious energy to find out what is truly going on. That’s why it’s so useful for making decisions. It can help us to see where each decision might lead and what the best outcome could be if we choose that option.

There are many different ways of working with Tarot and it depends on the reader as to what works best for them. Some people are naturally intuitive readers, some are psychic readers, others are more holistic and bring different modalities such as horoscopes and numerology in to their readings. There are people who prefer to use Tarot as a guidance tool, others like to use it for life coaching or counselling, and some who use it as part of their therapy practice. There is no one way to read and use Tarot, and there is no right or wrong way. What’s important is that you find someone who reads in a style or way that you feel comfortable with.

What is my style of reading?

I’m a psychic Tarot reader. That means I connect in with the Angelic Realm when I’m reading your cards and they guide me in interpreting the cards for you. Numerology also comes into my readings to some extent. The cards are all numbered and there are times when additional messages are conveyed through that numerology, so it’s important that I pick up on those messages and pass those on to you.

I take more of a coaching approach rather than a counselling or therapy type of practice. I’m not a predictive reader as I believe we all have free will and that means we can choose to change things at any time. If a reading contains challenging information, it’s an indication of where the current energies will take you if you don’t change something. In those situations I’ll be offering some guidance on what you can do to change those outcomes to something better for you.

How do I work?

Once I’ve received your request for a reading and your question, I’ll email you to get more detail on your question and to develop a spread that works to answer it in the best possible way.

Once we’ve agreed a spread, I will conduct the reading for you and email it back to you within seven working days. It will be in the form of a PDF so you can continue to read it and refer to it at your leisure.

My suggestion would be to go back to the reading after about three months and see what, if anything, has changed in your understanding of the reading. Sometimes it simply reinforces the reading, and other times more depth of understanding is revealed when we go back to it after a period of time.

Please read my Ethics page as there are certain things I’m unable to read on and it’s good for you to be aware of this before we start.
